Monitor does not sleep with Intel HD4600

Hello.

I recently bought a laptop and I use it with a Benq 24inch monitor via HDMI. The problem I have is the monitor does not sleep when Windows commands it ( it goes black and the backlight is on). I tried all the settings in power options and in BIOS I did not find any settings regarding video or power settings. The problem is not from the cable/monitor for sure because it works well with a Toshiba laptop that uses an Ati hd4650 video card.

The laptop informations are:

Intel i3-4000m

Intel hd4600+ati 8750m

Windows 7 64bit

Please test the system using the latest graphics driver's version 3621.

If the issue persisted, please check if there is a new BIOS version available for your laptop.

It seems I cannot install the beta driver... It says it cannot be installed on this computer, please contact the manufacturer(Lenovo in my case). I also tried some old drivers but still cannot install them. I`m starting to feel bad I bought Lenovo.

I tried to install the latest 64bit driver : https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23885&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20(64-bit)*&DownloadType=Drivers Download Center

When I try to update it from device manager Windows says I have the latest driver and does not update. I tried to intall it from the unzipped folder running setup but I get this message:

Update: With VGA cable the external monitor does go to sleep.

Have you tried using another HDMI cable?
