This update addresses several previously found issues and includes new features. Please see the http://downloadmirror.intel.com/24964/eng/ReleaseNotes_GFX_15%2036%2021%204222.pdf release notes and excerpt below for details. As always, feedback is appreciated.

The 15.36.21.4222 has been posted to Intel Download Center at the following direct links to the drivers:

32bit - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=24965 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=24965

64 bit - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=24964 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=24964

This driver supports the following:

5th Generation Intel® Core Processors with Intel HD graphics, Intel Iris™graphics, Intel Iris™Pro graphics and select Pentium®/ Celeron® Processors with Intel® HD graphics for Microsoft Windows* 8.1, Microsoft Windows* 8 and Microsoft Windows* 7 operating systems.

4th Generation Intel® Core™Processors with Intel HD graphics, Intel Iris™graphics and Intel Iris Pro graphics and select Pentium®/ Celeron® Processors with Intel® HD graphics for Microsoft Windows* 8.1, Microsoft Windows* 8 and Microsoft Windows* 7 operating systems.

New Features in this release:

  • Support for the newly launched H-series, R-series, and S-series 5th Generation Intel Core processors.

  • Display Scaling Option is Now "Sticky" User Preference

Scaling support in control panel has been changed to improve user experience. Previously, the set of scaling options available to the user was tied to the currently selected resolution and any change to the resolution caused the user selected scaling option to be lost. In the new implementation, the user selected scaling option is orthogonal to the current resolution and expresses the user's preference/intent for scaling behavior, regardless of the current resolution. The driver will remember this scaling preference and apply it for future display mode sets performed either in the graphics control panel OR via OS control panel.

  • Forced Application Scaling

The control panel also offers a new "forced application scaling" option where the user selected scaling option above for desktop will also be applied for full screen applications (generally games or media players), overriding whatever scaling mode the application and/or DirectX runtime/Operating System specify. This is intended to allow users to force "Stretch Full Screen" or "Maintain Aspect Ratio" scaling to address problems reported by users with games running in "Centered" scaling mode - particularly DirectX10 and 11 games and/or on Windows 8/8.1. Centered mode gives a bad user experience when running games as significantly lower than native resolution (e.g. to improve frame rate) on displays with very high resolutions. Intel has identified several root causes for this behavior:

Hi Sher,

Intel® HD Graphics 4400 shares up to 1.7GB of RAM with the system; however, the laptop manufacturer defines the maximum quantity of memory to share with graphics.

Quick Reference Guide for Intel® Core™ Processor Graphics

Check on the BIOS of your laptop if it is possible to change the minimum amount of system memory allocated to the Integrated Graphics Device (IGD).

Hey folks! I'm having issues with the latest driver. If I try clicking on display in graphic properties I just get a message that ''intel graphics control panel has stopped working'' and have no other option but to close it. Also the options in 3D/Profiles/Video/Options and support tabs are all messed up (check the pictures to see what I mean).

4GB RAM

Win 7 64bit

1024x768 is the resolution I'm using

Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron 3537 i5 , windows 7 64 bits SP1.

Since i installed the latest graphic driver ( 15.36.21.64.4222 ) yesterday, after i resarted my laptop, it shows me a blue screen with an error that requires a reboot. The thing is , it doesn't stop rebooting. Everytime Windows is about to open, or finish restarting, the blue screen comes up and restart again. I tried uninstalling it from Safe Mode, then i went to normal mode to reinstall my AMD driver and an Intel graphic driver , that was installed automatically. After that i went to play some games, but i noticed a lot of lags, wich were not there before. Anyway, today i went to windows update and downloaded an optional update, an Intel graphic driver ( WW1 something ... ), and as soon as i rebooted, the blue screen thing started again and even after i uninstalled the driver again, it didn't solve anything this time. I'm stuck in Safe Mode With Networking now.

Is there any fix for this? Please help.

Please let me know if you have switchable graphics on your computer. Normally the external graphics (AMD) disable the embedded graphics of the processor, so Intel driver is not necessary on the system.

If you have it, please send your processor model and external graphics model.

Hello Intel! My question is: Do you have a driver that can be installed on W10 OS? And also I can see that this one doesn't work with the 4200U GPU. Sorry, I'm kind of a newbie. . Greetings, Cristian!

Hi Cristian,

Hopefully you solved this by finding the sticky on the main Graphics page which offers the latest 4th Gen Win10 driver.

I'll note though, if you have an OEM system, it is advised to install the drivers found on their support website instead of the Intel generic driver. OEM's provide customizations that resolve or prevent issues specific to their hardware.

Is there any solution for these drivers PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0156&SUBSYS_14C71043&REV_09 . Intel 4000 HD . I am running on windows 10 x64 bit and have the latest drivers installed 17-Aug-15 , 10.18.10.4276 . I cant scale to full screen on games with low resolution for example my native screen is 1366x768 but I wanna play on full screen with 800x600 because of low fps . I always have black borders on side . Is there going to be an update like this /servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/2-310103-244775/untitled.png https://communities.intel.com/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/2-310103-244775/untitled.png ? Some of these options become available depending on the resolution you choose and depending on what the monitor can support.
