Hi everyone — I’m using an Intel NUC X15 (LAPAC71G) and lately I’ve been running into a frustrating problem. Whenever I try to open my website (including the WordPress backend) at OC Tint Solutions the browser — and sometimes the whole system — slows to a crawl or freezes. Symptoms I see include a browser tab becoming unresponsive for long periods, the mouse stuttering, big CPU spikes, occasional display glitches, and in a few cases the system hanging hard enough that I had to reboot. The issue seems to trigger more often on pages with heavier scripts or when I’m doing admin tasks in wp-admin (editing posts, loading the dashboard, running updates). I’ve tested with multiple browsers (Chrome and Edge) and the behaviour is consistent. I’ve already gone through the usual troubleshooting steps: updated BIOS/firmware and Windows, installed the latest Intel graphics drivers, cleared browser cache, disabled extensions, tested in Safe Mode, checked power profile and graphics settings, and verified WordPress plugins/themes by testing a basic page — but none of that fully fixed it. The hangs and lag remain intermittent but frequent enough to be a real problem. Has anyone else using the NUC X15 (LAPAC71G/H) seen similar freezes or severe slowdowns when visiting certain websites or working in WordPress? If so, what actually fixed it for you — specific driver versions, BIOS settings, firmware changes, rollbacks, or other workarounds that stopped the freezes? - To generate the Application Event Viewer log:
- Right-click on the Start button.
- Click on Event Viewer.
- Expand Windows Logs.
- Right-click on Application and select Save All Events As.
- Save the file and send us a copy.
- Please indicate the timestamp of the crash.
- To generate the System Event Viewer log:
- Right-click on the Start button.
- Click on Event Viewer.
