New 2024 Dell Latitude models and Intel Graphics drivers

Hello,

I'm testing new Dell Latitude 5350/5450 with Intel Ultra 5 135U processor.

For graphics part, I would like to install last Intel Graphics drivers but this one does not detect graphic card.

I tested different version from Intel, same.

But, the Dell driver v5333 works.

In device manager, the hardware ID is VEN_8086&DEV_7D45&SUBSYS_0CB51028

 

Why this model is not present in Intel Drivers ?

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.


It is always recommended to use the drivers from the manufacturer of the system.

The reason behind this is so that you won't lose any customizations from your computer manufacturer.


The driver from Intel is a generic driver, if the controller has a lot of modifications or customizations, you may lose those features using the generic driver.
