This is the exact same problem I am currently having.
Everything used to be there before, but there are no settings for the IGPU at all. Device Manager doesn't list Intel HD 4000 only my GTX 670. The BIOS has no IGPU settings. I did the Diagnostic Tool from Intel but it skips the graphics part. I really want to know whats wrong.
I flashed my BIOS to the newest, defaulted settingss, reset the CMOS as well, nothing.
Here is another rundown of the same problem I am having:
i5 3570k
GTX 670 FTW
8gb RAM

Hello Agel,
The issue you are describing seems to be related to a configuration and Heat Sink related concern as it is not being detected at BIOS level.
Keep in mind that in most systems that do not have switchable graphics enable or does not feature that at all, the integrated video controller is electrically disabled (even from bios) when an add-in video card is installed in the system. So, if a GTX 670 FTW card is installed and your system does not feature switchable graphics, then the Intel® HD Graphics will be disabled.
In addition, please use the Edit option in the forum to update a post that you have created in case you would like to add more information to it, so no other thread is created for the same concern.
