Hi, good morning!
I've the inspiron 3493 , Windows 11, and all the time I put in the hdmi cable from my TV 4k, it send just 1080 resulution. There is no way to change it in setup.
The drive is Intel Iris Plus Graphics 31.0.101.2125.
The hdmi cable is 2.0 HIGH RESULUTION.
Could anyone help me? I nedd to sendo 4k resolution to the TV 4K.

Having a 4K cable doesn't help if you have a HDMI port that only supports 2K. Unless you have a 12th gen. (or newer) Intel processor or a secondary (NVIDIA or AMD) graphics engine, you may not have support for 4K via HDMI. Some systems use a Display Port signal and a LSPcon chip to convert it to support 4K HDMI. This is rare in Dell's laptops, however.
