Overclocking Intel HD.

hi,,

i read on the net that Intel HD graphics can be overclocked to 1200 Mhz, (I3 530) Source : http://www.anandtech.com/show/2921/4 http://www.anandtech.com/show/2921/4

i wanted to ask whether this is safe and what are the effects on processor and other parts??

Hi,

From our side I would like to make you aware that we do not recommend or support using our parts out of the factory specifications, otherwise you may void your warranty. Keep in mind that you may have the option to over clock a product, however this can be only done under your own discretion.

Thank you! yes! Even i don't like taking the risk and harming my hardware. i was just curious as to whether it can be done safely and can intel HD compete with NVIDIA..
