Hi

I have an issues with turning the panel self refresh setting to off for plugged in.  When set to off, it will always default back to On when restarted.  This doesnt happen for on battery, just the plugged in option.  Has anyone else experienced this

Hi, JMcG2024.

Thank you for posting in our Community.

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue where the "Panel Self Refresh" setting automatically resets to "On" when plugged in, even after manually turning it off. This could be due to power management settings or a software conflict. Just to confirm, are you referring to Intel® Graphics Command Center? If you've already taken any steps to resolve this issue before reaching out, please share those details with me so we can avoid repeating any unnecessary actions.

Also, are you using an Embedded DisplayPort 1.3 (eDP 1.3), as Panel Self Refresh is only available for eDP 1.3?

Furthermore, I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable us to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue.

If you have any other relevant information that could aid in diagnosing the problem, feel free to include that as well.

Have a nice day!
