Problem updating hd4000 drivers

I get this message when trying to update my hd4000 drivers "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"

I have a dell inspiron 5520 with windows 8.

Hi lizardwaffles,

Based on your information I recommend you installing the latest graphics driver for your computer. It is important to mention that Intel® provides the generic driver for OEM systems and due to this reason you have two ways to install the driver in your computer.

You can try with the .exe file that can be downloaded at the following link:

In the case you still have the error you can try the other step that is to try with the manual driver installation. You can check the steps at the following link:
