Problems Selecting 1920x1080 with 945GM

Hi,

Got a new screen/ Re sis 1920 x 1080. Cannot for the life of me select this resolution with my laptop. I have updated the BIOS and Intel Drivers. 1920x1080 is listed under supported modes but not given as a display option. However, plugging it into my NETBOOK (ussing 945 graphics also) instantly gives me a whole range of resolutions including 1920x1080. Any ideas?
