A computer PC running the latest Windows 11 update.

MSI Z790 A Wifi DDR5 Corsair32gb ram

Intel Arc B580 GPU

CPU Intel I7 14700F No video

The new computer March 2025 has been running Adobe software with no problems until aprox two weeks ago. Adobe Lightroom editing in particular, MASKING is now useless.

Images show LR message before any editing and after an editing issue.

Hi Jaybird,

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. To assist us in investigating the issue, please provide the following details:

  1. What are the troubleshooting steps that you tried so far?
  2. Is the Resizable Bar enabled?
  3. Have you used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove all residual drivers and installed a new one?

Additionally, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your system, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This tool will generate a text file compiling all your system information. You can follow the instructions at this link and send the text file here. Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility.

If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Best regards,

Hi Jaybird,

Thank you for the update.

Let me provide you with the steps for the additional troubleshooting methods we discussed:

  1. What Is Resizable BAR and How Do I Enable It?
  2. How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall a Graphics Driver

Important Note: Please do make sure that your System is on SAFE MODE before performing DDU and please do make sure that you already downloaded the Latest Graphics Driver from Intel Download Center

Additionally, it would be very helpful if you could provide an Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) log file to better understand your system configuration.

To generate the log file:

  1. Download the Intel® SSU from this link: Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*
  2. Launch the application and select the checkbox for “Everything”
  3. Click Scan
  4. When the scan completes, click Next, then Save
  5. Attach and send the saved file with your response

Please try these steps and let us know if the Lightroom Classic performance issues persist. The SSU logs will be particularly helpful if we need to investigate further.
