The scientific 3D reconstruction software, Seg3d2 (ver 2.1.2 64bit for windows), doesn't start in windows7 PRO with core i7 and "Intel HD Graphics Family, Processor Graphics 3000", running on a "ASUS ZENBOOK, motheboard UX31E".
The program is launched on the laptop, the starting process icon appears for about 5-6 sec and then it stops and nothing happens; the process is kicked off (as is confirmed looking at the "Windows Task Manager" panel).
May the problem be due to the non-compatibility of the "Intel Processor Graphics 3000" driver with the last version of OpenGL?
Thank you for any help.

Hi Diego,
My app is a visual studio 2008, c++ app with opengl and glut (not finished yet).
You can also replicate the same problem with the following links
http://nehe.gamedev.net/data/lessons/vc/lesson07.zip http://nehe.gamedev.net/data/lessons/vc/lesson07.zip
or
http://nehe.gamedev.net/data/lessons/vc/lesson10.zip http://nehe.gamedev.net/data/lessons/vc/lesson10.zip
You can use exe file in the zip.
The problem is in the full screen mode. Resolution change is unimportant I guess (my app has the same resolution with the desktop).
Thanks...

Re - But, at this time, I cannot use alt+tab or windows+tab (before this driver, it was possible). If I use, focus is gone, but wrong window (my opengl app) is shown in front. Real trouble. Then I have to use ctrl+alt+del to escape.
This behaviour is still present for full screen openGL apps with current driver revision 8.15.10.2696 (Win 7 64bit, core i5 2430m, HD3000)

Could you please test this Alt+tab behavior with the driver posted here?

Hello Diego from Intel
How do I get my OpenGL (OGL) to be supported by my graphics card driver (integrated chip), I have Intel® 82852/82855 Graphics Controller Family for the 845g. The graphics chip driver supports up to 1.4 and nesecito that supports OGL 2.0 at least (there is already OGL 4.2). I noticed that the OGL 1.4 has almost 10 years (July 24, 2002) and not think it's possible the idea that PC did not update the drivers for the 845G chip family. The problem issue is because I can not run warzone2100 3.x (either beta or not) because the driver does not support OGL 2.0 as mentioned above.
I want you to please update the driver, it's of vital importance to my busyness.

Your IGP havn`t hardware functions needed for OpenGL 2.0 support, so there is no driver solution for you.

Hello. I have Intel Hd Grpahics 3000 and i just updated to the latest update for this graphics driver thinking it would support OpenGL 3.1...... sadly i tried to load my game that usues OpenGL 3.1 and it gave me the same error saying that my grpahics driver did not support 3.1...... i was wondering if others have gotten this same problem even though they updated. Does the new update have OpenGL3.1 support?
heres the error: (colored it green)

Hello,
As per the debug information that you posted the driver installed is version 8.15.10.2353
The latest generic driver on our site is 15.26.8.64.2696 (8.15.10.2696)
This is posted on the following site:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Processor+graphics&ProductProduct=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+3000/2000&ProdId=3319&LineId=3310&FamilyId=39 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Processor+graphics&ProductProduct=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+3000/2000&ProdId=3319&LineId=3310&FamilyId=39
You might try using that drivers in order to troubleshoot this issue.

Hello there - I had an Issue using Blender 3D with INTEL HD 3000 (Blender is OpenGL-based) - I had this known Window-redraw issue with my new Ultrabook.
What I tried was using an older driver (Version: 8.15.10.2509) and now it works perfectly.
Maybe it helps with your Issues as well?
the driver can be found here - > http://downloadmirror.intel.com/21231/a08/Win7_64_15268.exe http://downloadmirror.intel.com/21231/a08/Win7_64_15268.exe
