Rebuild Speed is bad

The Rebuild Speed of the Intel ICH 10 R is to bad.

I have a two Xeon Board and the rebuild of an Raid 5 System, 3 * 2 TByte take more than a week.

Can I change anything. Can I push more Systemrecource to the ICH 10 R?

The Prozessorspeed is < 5%.

Its going as fast as it can... to rebuild a 2TB takes a long time enable write back cache will help a bit if you don't have it enabled.

The less you access the array the fast it will get done.
