Reinstalling windows 11 after updating

Every time I update my ARC/Iris driver windows update automatically reinstalls the generic one. Is there something I have done? This has only happened with the arc software not the graphics only download. I have a dell inspiron 15 with an i5 and 32gig mem.

Sadly, no, this is not your fault. This is errors in the portion of the Windows Update catalog owned by Intel.

You have a laptop. You should not be using IDSA (Dell has their own) and, when it comes to graphics, you definitely should not be using package that come from anywhere other than Dell (as Dell may be customizing the driver packages).
