Remote Assistance crashes target system

2 systems: HP DC7900 with Intel Q45/Q43 Express Chipset and HP Elite 8100 with Intel HD Graphics.

After installing driver with version 6.14.10.5179 both systems will crash once they agree with a Remote Assistance session.

Installing more recent driver from Intel solves the crashing but fixes the resolution to 640x480; versions tried: 6.14.10.5248 and 6.14.10.5268 (resp. winxp_14421 and winxp14423.exe). Both these files state that they are intendend for all platforms running XP but in reality expect Microsoft Vista
