Dear ASUS Support Team,
I’m currently using the ASUS Vivobook S14 S3407CA (model: S3407CA-LY729WA), which is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor. I understand that this CPU should include Intel Arc Graphics 140T as part of its integrated GPU. However, I’ve noticed that in my system, the GPU is only listed as “Intel Graphics” in Device Manager, with no mention of Arc.
At the moment, my laptop is running with a single RAM module (16GB, single-channel). I’m wondering if the lack of dual-channel memory might affect the GPU’s performance or visibility, especially if Arc relies on shared memory bandwidth.
Could you kindly confirm:
- Whether this model officially includes Intel Arc Graphics 140T
- If any specific BIOS settings, driver updates, or RAM configurations are required for Arc to be properly recognized or utilized
I’d appreciate any clarification or guidance you can provide. Thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards,
RNN3

Hi PSKN3N,
Thank you for contacting Intel support regarding the Intel Arc Graphics on your ASUS Vivobook S14 S3407CA with Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor.
I can confirm that your Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor does indeed include Intel® Arc™ 140T GPU as its integrated graphics solution.
You mentioned that your laptop currently has a single 16GB RAM module (single-channel configuration). This is likely why your system is displaying "Intel Graphics" instead of "Intel Arc Graphics 140T" in Device Manager.
Based on Intel's official specifications, Intel® Arc™ graphics are only available on Intel® Core™ Ultra processor-powered systems when the following conditions are met:
- Memory Configuration: The system must have at least 16GB of system memory in a dual-channel configuration
- OEM Enablement: OEM enablement is required for proper Arc graphics functionality
- System Design: Qualifying system thermal design must be present
Since Intel Arc graphics functionality requires OEM enablement and specific system configurations, I recommend contacting ASUS directly for further assistance with:
- Confirming if your specific model supports Intel Arc Graphics 140T recognition
- Any required BIOS updates or settings for Arc graphics enablement
- Compatibility information regarding memory configuration requirements
- System-specific driver recommendations
ASUS will have the most accurate information about your laptop's capabilities and any necessary configurations for proper Intel Arc graphics functionality.
Thank you for your inquiry, and I hope ASUS can provide you with the specific guidance needed for your system. Let me know if you don't have any other questions.
Best regards,
Dean R.
