I have a DELL laptop with i5-1035G1 Processor with no external graphic card. After installing clean Win I installed all recommended drivers from here:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/hu/hu/hubsdt1/product-support/product/inspiron-15-5593-laptop/drivers
After connecting the LG monitor via HDMI/HDMI cable, I installed the monitor driver from here:
https://www.lg.com/hk_en/support/support-product/lg-29UM59-P
The problem is that the maximum display resolution offered in Display settings is 1920x1080.
The cable cannot be wrong. I can use the same monitor with higher resolutions from my PC.
What I tried so far - uninstalled Graphics driver from Device Manager with removing files, restarted the laptop and installed latest from intel site:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29426/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=126789
Then I reinstalled the monitor driver just in case, but didn't help.
Any suggestions what to do are welcome.

First, you should be using the graphic drivers provided by Dell for their laptop.
You should be using Dell support to troubleshoot your laptop and monitor problems.
