Resolution problem.

I have a Dell M2800 with Intel HD graphics 4600 and AMD FirePro W4170M. The Intel control panel is the only on e that has options to change the resolution.

My second screen is an Eizo s2433w with max. resolution 1920 x 1200. I can only attach it via VGA as the Dell has HDMI out and the screen otherwise has Displayport In.

The problem is that the Intel control panel will only let me go to a resolution of 1600 x 900 ( maybe 1680 x 1050, can't remember but can check if it's important).

How can I get the resolution to what it should be.

Thanks,

Adam

Could you please assist me with the processor model and Windows version?

I understand that you have one monitor connected via VGA, how do you have the other connected, is via HDMI or display port?

Are both straight connections or are you using an adapter?

Hi,

Intel HD 4600

W7 Pro

2 screens are the inbuilt laptop screen and VGA that should have 1920 x 1200 resolution but does not have that option in the controls. I think the max it shows is 1680.

There is no adapter, just one direct cable.

Thanks
