Hi, I just installed win7, 64 bit, a fresh install on. Device manager shows SM Bus Controller with a ! Driver not installed.
My mobo is an asus p5nd2-sli (basic) with an intel P4 3.2 ghz dual core processor. I've been looking for a couple days now to try to find the driver to fix this but no luck. I have run the driver update utility on this site but it does not show a chipset driver. I have also downloaded and run the infinst911autol program but it fails, saying that my machine does not meet the min standards. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Just ask, if there is further info you need about my system to be able to help. Thanks!

Hello,
Since this is an Asus mbd, you need to check with Asus.
I cannot see any drivers for windows 7 for this board.

The intel chipset driver is for all intel desktop boards.
Kind Regards,
Aryan

You don't have a Intel chipset the p5nd2-sli has a nForce chipset and with it being a nForce 4 which is now legacy win 7 drivers are not available for it.
