I have an Intel Arc b580 paired with a Ryzen 5 5600X. I’m enjoying the new GPU as I upgraded from an RTX 3050 paired with a Ryzen 5 5500 the only downfall that’s bothered me is struggling to stream on OBS Studio to Kick at 1080p 60fps/720p 60fps as I have to reduce the quality of my settings on either obs or the in-game settings of the game I’m trying to stream just to get it stable, but drastically losing out on quality for my stream in comparison to my previous setup it could handle it no problem. I understand the unresolved driver overhead issue would be contributing to this and I’m willing to be patient and have faith in your team with fixing this issue. I was just curious to know if there was an eta on how long it could be until it’s resolved or if it even can be.
Any response would be much appreciated,
Thanks.

...visit Intel’s official website or use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant to check for updates.OBS allows you to use the Intel Quick Sync Video (QSV) encoder which can offload some of the encoding tasks to your Intel Arc GPU rather than relying solely on the CPU. Go to Settings > Output > Streaming, and select Hardware (QSV) for the encoder. Try lowering the bitrate slightly, especially if you are streaming at high bitrates (e.g., 6000 kbps for 1080p 60fps). Lowering the bitrate will reduce the overall strain on the GPU. Test different resolution and frame rate combinations to see if a slight decrease (e.g., 720p 60fps) can still provide good quality while reducing the strain. Since you're using a Ryzen 5 5600X alongside your Intel Arc B580, make sure your CPU is not under heavy load while streaming. You can monitor CPU and GPU usage with task manager or MSI Afterburner to ensure both components are not bottlenecking the performance. lastly Check for updates on the official OBS Studio website
try enable low latency mode In Settings > Advanced, enable Low Latency Mode to help optimize performance when streaming at high frame rates.
as you told us that there may still be driver overhead issues that need to be resolved by Intel. Keep an eye on Intel’s driver updates, as these could address streaming performance and improve compatibility with OBS Studio.
