Product Name: HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Hello, Let me state right off the bat that I have been to other places for help on this subject and I have contacted my manufacturer with absolutely no help. I'm here as a last resort and I'm looking for any kind of help or idea's for my problem.
I got this HP laptop back in 2011. However, despite many hours of trying to update the driver over the years I have not had a new update for it since I got it. I've tried downloading manually from hp, using download support assistants and everything else I can think of. Any type of detector cant tell what I have, not even the Intel or HP ones. I've never had so much trouble trying to get a driver update.
I've tried downloading the driver from the following link. But their was no way the AMD would drive would work for what I have.

This site seems to be what I'm looking for, however the date on that driver doesn't do me any good. Makes me wonder if the driver on this laptop just isn't supported. http://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/hp/laptops-desktops/hp-pavilion-dv7-6c95dx/50357 http://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/hp/laptops-desktops/hp-pavilion-dv7-6c95dx/50357
In my device manager its a:
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
Driver date: 8/9/2011
Driver Version: 8.15.10.2476
I attached the relevant default information. If you think you need the DispDiag as well then I will post It here as well.
Not having an updated driver has been causing me a lot of grief for a long time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your laptop have a HD Graphics 3000 IGP (second-gen Core i7 CPUs). Take driver from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81500 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81500 , no Windows 10 support for considered old hardware.

Wow, that actually worked! After so much time spent looking for a new driver for this you found it so easily. I have no idea how you found that but finally pretty much all of my problems are gone now. Thank you so much JFFulcrum.
