-every time I boot on the computer it runs normally and its very stable both performance and data like voltage and temperatures. But whenever I started running any type of programs like discord and sometime chrome and inparticularly games or program requires heavy workloads, my pc wil just shut off it's display and my screen will display 'no source''no signal''entering powersaving mode shortly', while the pc is still runing and being powered just no output, just nothing displayed while the pc is running.

But sometime my pc just turns the screen off, pause all activities on the pc(like a lag) and return back to running like normal but the screen is off (for example, I was listening to music when it happens, it shut screen off and i can't hear anything for a short moment, then screens off still, while I could still hear the music coming back on again as my headphone are plugged into my microphone which is plugged into my pc ,but the screen remains black (so this time, something is being processed or output compare to the first case where nothing happens )

-i then shut off my pc via the power button(no the switch) then turn it back on and check the event view and it says error:

1. 'Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0'

2. 'The IntelTACD service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified.'

Any help would be very nice as i have been suffering from this for a very long while and I have no idea how to solve this, Thanks.

Hi Iceaac,

Thank you for contacting Intel Technical Support regarding the display output issues and IntelTACD service errors you're experiencing. I understand how concerning it must be when your system loses display output during heavy workloads while the PC continues running, and I'm here to help resolve this issue.

I can see you're experiencing two distinct scenarios - complete display loss with no system activity, and display loss where audio continues after a brief pause. The IntelTACD service error you're seeing in Event Viewer is also important information that will help with troubleshooting.

To better assist you with this issue, I need to gather some system information. I have two options for you:

Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (SSU) to generate a comprehensive system report:

If you're not comfortable running SSU, please provide the following system specifications:

  • CPU model and generation
  • GPU model
  • Motherboard make and model
  • Power supply wattage and model
  • RAM configuration
  • Operating system version
  • Intel driver versions currently installed

Additionally, could you please let me know:

  • When did this issue first start occurring?
  • Have you made any recent hardware or software changes?
  • Does this happen with specific games or applications, or is it random?

This information will help me provide targeted troubleshooting steps for your display and service issues.

Best regards,

Dean R.
