I was having trouble playing videos using the onboard video card that comes with my Intel G31 motherboard. The video would stop working and i would get an driver error and would have to reboot to reset the display settings. I updated the driver but I continued to experience the problem. I bought a Nvidia GeForce 8400 video card and connected it to the PCI slot on the board. Windows is saying that the new video card is working properly but it is not. With the new card, the screen flickers alot, videos stop playing but the sound continues, and it gets to the point where it freezes all together. Can anyone help with this issue? Did I miss a step here?
