I have attempted every situation from countless forums to broadcast full range rgb on my monitor (dell s2721qs) from my laptop (yoga 720 15-IKB), still no solution.
My laptop is using a discrete Nvidia gpu along with integrated intel graphics, and does not support HDR on display, only on playback. Changing input mode only changes playback and not display of full range RGB.
Quantization range is missing from both intel and nvidia graphic command centers. The only bug fix I encountered that could broadcast full rgb was by using custom scaling (overscan); however, the colors reset after sleeping or restart/start computer. USB C to display port gives full range rgb without any modifications.
The countless attempts for full range rgb I have attempted: registry Dword-nvidia toggler, registry reset hdmi connection, registry enable overscan, switch cables, reinstalled display drivers, reset color calibration, reset laptop/monitor settings to defaults.

Hello @Zero1999
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
In order to review this further, could you please provide us with the following details?
1- Is this behavior occurring since the first day that you have this configuration (Laptop + USB C to HDMI + DELL monitor)? Or did it work as expected at any time before?
2- Please provide details about the "USB-C to HDMI*" connection you are using, are you using a single straight-through cable (one end USB-C and the other HDMI), a video adapter, or a docking station?
3- When you said "laptop does not support HDR on display, only on playback. Changing input mode only changes playback and not display of full range RGB"; just to make sure, what do you mean by "display of full range RGB"?
Do you mean experiencing an enhanced color experience on the regular Windows* Desktop or when running other regular apps? Could you please provide more details?
4- If possible, please provide a video (or pictures) showing the actual behavior and the current settings on the Intel® Graphics Command Center and Windows Advanced Display Settings.
5- Please provide detailed step-by-step instructions for replications purposes. (Note: If possible, you may instead include the replication steps in the same video requested in step # 4.).
6- A Report for Intel® Graphics Drivers following the steps on the link. Make sure the monitor in question is connected to the computer when generating the report.
7- Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system:
- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
- Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
- Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.
To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
Best regards,
Andrew G.
