Unable to install RST 10.1.0.1008 driver on Windows 7 x64

I'm unable ot install the Rapid Storage Technology driver 10.1.0.1008 on Windows 7 x64 (board is Intel DP55KG). The 8.9 drivers work, the 10.1.x driver doesn't. When I try to install the driver/software it takes a very long time when trying to install the driver file itself and then an error pops up.

The log IntelIRST.log shows the following error:

The BIOS of the board is up to update (Raid controller version is 10.1.0.1008).

I don't have a definitive answer for you, but I did notice that on the download page for your mother board, for Win 7 64bit, the RST driver listed is the 9.6.1014 version. Perhaps the RST 10... driver is not compatible.

Be carefull what you wish for... I installed it and the Windows refused to boot afterwards, had to do System restore.
