I have a Dell Inspiron Desktop running Windows 10 which has DirectX12 incorporated.
Up until a couple of months ago this programme, EMC 10, worked fine. Now I can't view or edit any video clips using Videowave or My DVD which both open the above error box. (The photo & music functions still work normally).
The video card is an Intel HD Graphics 4400 which came with the computer. The diagnostic apps tell me that there isn't a problem with DirectX & I appear to have the best driver installed.
I don't understand why this app worked before but now it doesn't. ( I have also installed PhotoVidShow with the same results).
Has anyone else experienced this problem & found a solution.

Hello, uncletomcob:
Thank you for contacting the Intel Communities.
I would like you to check the following links that indicates the DirectX* version supported by the different generations of processors and its Intel® HD Graphics.
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005524.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005524.html
For Intel® HD Graphics it would be to check 4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors.
If the DirectX* supported matches the one required, please test the behavior of your system with the drivers below:

I look forward to hearing from you and the outcome on this.
Regards,
Esteban C
