What media laptop would you suggest?

So I am in the market for a new laptop to supply my iMac at home. I want a laptop that is great on the go, while traveling and at the same time strong enough for video editing.

I would like a 15" because the screen is slightly larger than the 13" and more convenient than the 17".

What would you suggest?

Hello:

Thank you for joining the Graphics community.

Thank you very much to Stefan3D for the information and the link posted previously, I am sure it will be very helpful for all the peers viewing this thread.

To Bruno Nelson:

Just to let you know, the thing is that since Intel does not manufactured laptops, in general the information that we have available is not that much in regard the specifications of them.

However, on the following link you will find the 10 best gaming laptops for 2017:

Additionally on the following link you will be able to compare different types of processors:

I hope the above information was useful for you.

Any further questions, please let me know.

The ASUS G56JR would be the better option for you as you clearly want a laptop for gaming. With a 1080p screen, which is more than good for a 15.6 inch display, and a powerful GTX 760M graphic card, you'd be able to get a better FPS at max settings in comparison to Toshiba because you'll have to lower down the texture quality to get playable FPS at 4K, which won't be great to look at. Both the laptops (time for buying) have the same processor, with the Asus G56 having a better graphic card. Plus, the laptop has a backlit keyboard with a nice travkpad and build quality.

So, Toshiba P50t-b is a good option, but its beautiful display can be more of a concern than an advantage in your case, with the less powerful graphic card. Asus G56JR is the one you should buy.

You will need to go with a lightweight plus powerful laptop as you will use it as a video editing and also need to carry it while travelling. Some of the best options right now are new dell xps 15, lenovo x1 carbon, conceptd 7, macbook pro 16inch and similar options.
