According to Windows Task Manager->Processes, the Intel program DSAservice.exe, part of Intel Driver and Support Assistant, is constantly downloading a small amount of data. It it not for updating the program itself, because according to Windows 10->Settings>Network & Internet->Data Usage, the program has downloaded 321 MB in the last 30 days, and according to Control Panel-Programs and Features, the programsize is only 22,6 MB.

That is not what I asked. Why do you reply when you don't have something significant to contribute?

I had already un-installed that earlier, so the answer is yes, but dsaservice.exe is still downloading data.

Then, use this tool to completely uninstall IDSA.

Reboot
Then, reinstall IDSA, and this time do not agree to the Intel Computing Improvement program install.

Reboot
Also, note that IDSA is intended for Intel boards/systems.

Done all that, dsaservice is still downloading data. I have Acer laptops with Intel Graphics and Wireless, that's why I use the program.

Well, ACER should have their own tool. Whatever the case, do this and an Intel support engineer will assist you.
Download, run, and save the results of this utility as a text file:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility
Then ATTACH the text file (using the paperclip under the toolbar).

Acer and other large computer manufacturers never update drivers. When you go to the support-page for the particular model, they still have the driver-versions that came with the device (released in 2018, in my case). Their update-tools never report new drivers, so i don't use them.
I won't upload so much info to an open forum. What are you looking for in the log-file?

Dell has one. Just remember, when using the IDSA, there is an exclusion list:

Really? I didn't even know that brand still existed. I had one 20 years ago, didn't last 2 years.
My point is just: The program works fine, when there are new drivers for the graphics and wireless, I get a notification on the taskbar-icon, and the program installs the new drivers. I have a network-meter gadget on my desktop, and it showed that a program was constantly downloading 780 B/s. This turns out to be dsaservice.exe, and the Windows Data Usage monitor states it downloaded 321 MB in the last 30 days, and 3 times that amount on my larger laptop.

The DSA Service is constantly reading from a feed to find out if updates are available. If you don't like it, uninstall the package; it's that easy.
