Hi Guys,
I am using a toshiba WT200 that has an intel GMA3600 video chipset. When you launch metro apps, the sys file from the driver causes a BSOD. I have tried this microsoft OLE fix, but to no avail (see http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w8itprogeneral/thread/b0e4f9a3-4c96-4e6f-9399-71fc5813853c Metro apps won&# 39;t start under consumer preview of Windows 8 )
Is there a beta driver suitable for this device coming, that will alleviate this issue?
Thanks, Chris

Guys,
I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your products. At this point the drivers we have for the controller GMA 3600 is for win 7 32 bit only.
If you are having problems installing drivers In the HD 4000 graphics controller, you can try the manual driver installation. Here are the steps:
http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm
Sometimes, OEMs set software limitations for their units and that is way is very important to install the drivers provided by the computer manufacture.

Kevin,
Will Intel GMA 3600 (http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/gma3600 Support for the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 Series) ever be able to run Windows 8.1 Pro 32bit without crashing metro applications?

oh, sorry
My English is bad too ... but will try to answer you with a translator.
What I meant is that I tested an unofficial driver and through him some Metro apps work.
I showed some screenshots of apps running and I put some instructions if someone wants do the test.
The unofficial driver is on facebook community Intelli Modder 32 - Modded Drivers for Intel -> https://www.facebook.com/modpgd?ref=stream&filter=3 https://www.facebook.com/modpgd?ref=stream&filter=3
