Hello,
I used Intel (R) driver updated utility to get the current driver, which it did. I have an Intel i3 processor; I then updated the driver. Windows restarted my computer, and I find that it wants to re-install the very same old generic driver that doesn't work for my system. This is the message I get: • Intel Corporation - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3, Graphics Adapter WDDM2.0 - Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400.
I am at my wits end, and would like to know, how do I stop this or reject the update? Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.

Hello darrell2282,
Is the message from the Intel® Driver Update Utility or the Windows Updates?
Regards,
Amy.

Hello Amy,
Sorry I forgot to specify. Windows update keeps doing this, the Intel Utility corrects the problem, and Windows wants to re-install that update.
