Windows 7 Aero Performance Error Message

Hi

i got a GigaByte Z77X-D3H with an Intel Core i5-3570 and a XFX Radeon HD7870.

The Intel graphicscard is used for one TFT, the Radeon for the others.

If i got nothing open on the PC and only the desktop is visible Windows throws the AERO performance something error and wants to switch to simple graphics. This error is repeated every 2-5 minutes.

If i work with the PC or leave something open the error does not appear...

what is wrong?

driver issue?

Hi Katzi,

I understand that you are using the processor graphics and the XFX Radeon HD7870 at the same time.

I recommend contacting the motherboard manufacturer in order to check the BIOS is properly configured to handle both graphics controllers at the same time.
