This is on an old Asus MB, B85M-E R2, AMI BIOS 0303 (4/18/2023), DDR3 32G with Intel HD Graphics 4600 GPU. The CPU is an Intel Core i5-4570 Haswell 4 Core @3.2GHz.My Intel Drivers & Support Assistant says my drivers and software are up to date. I'm running Windows 10 Pro 22H2 build 19045.5131 (6/24/23). My MB does not meet the hardware requirements for a Win 11 upgrade. Asus says the MB does have a TPM port, but I haven't been able to find and buy a chip that is recognized by the BIOS. I don't see any BIOS update since 4/18/23. So the MB fails encryption support, saying PCR7 binding is not possible, and therefore I'm running Windows 10 (64 bit).
Windows keeps trying to update my Intel graphics driver, specifically the GPU driver to its generic version.
Do you recommend I let Windows go ahead and do that update, or should I stay with the Intel information that my drivers are up to date and stop Windows from doing its update? I see that might involve me having to turn off Windows update.
Thanks to anyone who can help me with this ahead of time.
