Hello, I hope this is posted in the correct location. I have been trying to run the Windows Updater, and it keeps failing with the following error: Updates failed Intel Corporation - Extension - 31.0.101.5445 Install Error - 0x80070103 About the same time this update started failing, my internet has started dropping access at random times. It may stay disconnected for 1 - 3 minutes then be fine for several hours before it does it again. I never had this problem before the update fails. Is there a driver I need to roll back to an earlier version? I am running an Origin laptop with Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2 OS build 26100.4770 64 G RAM Intel Core i9-14900HX I connect to the Internet wirelessly. Any help or advice given will be greatly appreciated.

I would presume that was in the Optional Updates - and, based upon the version string, is for an absolutely ancient release of the graphics driver. You definitely don't want to be installing that, so it's a good thing it failed (you would have had to download and reinstall the latest drivers again).
If you truly were in the Optional Updates, what else did you install from there. They aren't there to just be downloaded and installed by everyone; they address specific issues affecting specific PC designs. Withing the Optional Updates, if you don't know what an update is for, don't install it!
Hope this helps,
...S

This old graphic driver update issue has gone on for far too long.
Just saying...
