Yellow Screen

I connected my laptop (Windows 8.1) to a boardroom Projector and on completion disconnected by unplugging the cable without closing the presentation. If I now connect to a second monitor, the second screen has a yellow background. I have tried another monitor with the same results - the laptop screen is not affected .

I would need more information in regards to your system configuration:

Which version of Windows do you have? Windows 8.1 x32- or x64-bit?

Also, the exact processor model and the graphics controller:

Click the Windows icon, and then right-click Computer .

Select Properties .

Find System Type on the Properties window, and then note the processor model.
