Steps to reproduce:
1. Run IE11 on a system with Intel HD graphics 4600 version 9.18.10.3272 drivers. We've seen this with IE 11.0.9600.17420.
2. Open http://jsfiddle.net/philci/j3a284L3/ http://jsfiddle.net/philci/j3a284L3/
3. Click on the square on the right-hand side
4. A bitmap with shades of blue should appear, but instead the square turns white
5. Comment out the clearRect call in the code, click Run and click on the square again. This time it works OK.
The problem does not occur on other browsers (Chrome, Firefox) on the same platform; nor does it occur in IE11 with Intel version 9.17 drivers.
Also reported to Microsoft at https://connect.microsoft.com/IE/feedback/details/1038388 canvas.putImageData fails after previous clearRect call | Microsoft Connect

Hi Phil
Could you verify you are still seeing the issue with the latest Intel HD Graphics driver? It is available here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24348&lang=eng&ProdId=3719 Intel® Download Center
I ran the test on 3 system with newer versions of the graphics driver than what you are seeing this issue with and do not see the issue.
Thanks
Robert

Hi Robert,
Thanks very much for the reply. I've tried downloading the driver you indicated, but I could not install it on the affected system; it displayed a message saying

---------------------------
The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer.
Setup will exit.
Would you like more information?
