custom resolution

I have just bought a Lenovo Z70 and I want to hook it up to my monitor via HDMI.

The monitor I have though is a 21:9 ultra wide lcd LG monitor.

It displays a resolution of 2560 X 1080 so I need to put in a custom display resolution but I cannot do it as it shares between intel and nvidia GPU.

The Intel control panel shows the "digital display 29ea93" and its correct resolution however it does not load it.

 

Can anyone help me on how to get a custom resolution to display usng this laptop
