Hi, i am an Animator and working in this industry from 1997. Always had good experience with Quadro and then this Intel arc770. Was looking for Some graphics card with more ram for Unreal engine and bought this in Aug, 2023.
Attached Images are
1. My system as seen in your site
2. tyFlow using Cuda and PhysX drivers
3. The interface of Element 3D 2.2 in After Effects 2021
Where it failed ?
1. After effects we use Element 3d which is showing totally black.
2. there are plugins of 3dsmax like tyFlow which uses Cuda driver and Physx driver. Does they work with Arc770 ? I didnt find the usage of it with the graphics card.
Is there any solution ?
We are artists, not hardware experts , we expected Intel in 2023 must be coming out with a graphics card which will have the basic solutions for the CGI industry. Its a big disappointment.
Any solution will really help. Specially the After effects Plugin - Element 3d 2.2 failing big time.
thanks in advance

Hello insudip4321,
The Arc770 is part of Intel's Arc series of graphics cards. It does not support CUDA or GPU-accelerated PhysX, as both technologies are proprietary to NVIDIA GPUs.
I will consult with our engineering team for further insights and recommendations regarding your specific use case and will follow up with additional information.

Thanks fr yr reply. My mistake to buy this card. All the 3d softwares are collaborating with cuda and PhysX. I should have read more about yr card.
can u solve the After effects part ?
1. After effects we use Element 3d which is showing totally black.
It can atleast save one side.
thanks in advance for yr time.

Cuda, PhysX supports only with Nvidia GPU. I checked Adobe Effects system requirements, and i3 10105 F does not support intel quick sync .

Thanks for replying
At present, you can use the i7 13th gen or the i5 13th processor which is cheaper than i9 10th gen .
Also, don't buy processor suffixes with F T or KF series, those do not intel quick sync.
Before buying the processor, read the technical specs on the intel website and the motherboard technical specs use DDR5 memory
So you can upgrade to a B760 chipset for midrange or Z790 chipset MB for heavy work if you have more money
13th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 Processors
Intel® Core™ i5 processors (14th gen)
Thanking you
