intel 4 x64 opengl driver max texture size only 512x512?

hi,

i tried to search, but did not find any info regarding my problem. since i installed windows 7 x64 i have a problem, that in open gl the max texture size is only 512x512. i tried the latest drivers at that time (april 2010) and today i tried the latest driver available 8.15.10.2141 and the problem is still there. the 32bit drivers for windows 7 allowed at least 4096x4096 textures in opengl. is this only a bug at my side, or is it a limitation of the driver?
