I have done a scan with your dravers assitant and it shows me that i have 1.00 Gb of vram but my machine tells me 512 Mb only ???

What can I do to get maximum vram

my machine :

Asus X540L windows 10 64 bit

8 Gb ram

processor intel i3 5005U 2.00 GHz

graphic card intel hd graphics 5500

The assignment of DRAM as VRAM happens automatically. If needs dictate, up to 50% of your DRAM can be assigned as VRAM. You do not need to do anything. The best thing to do to improve performance is get more memory. In this day and age, with the ridiculous amounts that the games are requiring (for shaders, etc.), 8GB is simply not enough.
