intigrated gpu being goofy with steam games

(copying this from discord because i dont feel like explaining again)
i need help with steam
basically im trying to play the sims 4 because im curious what that game is like but when i try launching it it freezes my screen for a couple of secs, but audio is fine and when i get out of the game via the windows key it gets out and my screen unfreezes, and it only freezes when i go back in the game, but i think the game is working otherwise because for a few seconds it does stay unfreezed and shows where its at until it freezes again
also just tested something and when it freezes its only the video i can still "move" around my mouse and click on stuff and it basically works normally, other then the screen being frozen

would also like to add that ive been having this issue with some other steam games
i tried playing R6S(rainbow 6 siege) but that froze also and team fortress 2 also freezes sometimes but not all the time.

i also found out from the discord that im able to play the games when i turn of the gpu driver on my computer, but that makes everything small and i dont like how small everything gets
is there a fix?

2. What are he troubleshooting steps that you tried so far?
