new driver for win7 pro 64-bit does not work properly

Hi all!

I just updated my driver to the latest version 8.15.10.1825...thing is, I tried it and started need for speed underground 1.

After the game started, there are two vertical borders, left and right...it's like the game could not run on wide-screen display..really odd

I don't know if this is a driver-issue or it's related to the OS..after exiting the game, an icon from intel says that 'my desktop is using an inferior resolution...blabla'

currently using windows seven professional 64-bit

the GPU hardware is intel x3100..anyone got the same weird behavior just like I did?
