Hello sabitispro,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.

  1. Can you tell me how did you overclock your Arc A770?
  2. What is the issue that you encounter with Fortnite running while running on default settings?
  3. What are the troubleshooting steps that you tried so far?
  4. Can you share some screenshots and video of the gameplay and during the overclocking?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hi,

I overclocked my setup using the Intel graphics software. When I was playing at the default settings, I wasn’t getting the FPS I expected—barely hitting around 100 FPS even on the most minimal graphics settings. After messing around for about an hour, I finally found a stable preset, but I'm still not getting enough FPS out of it.

In addition - Is there any way to boost memory clock in arc gpus?

Thanks

Hello sabitispro,

Thank you for the quick response.

It is hard to provide recommendations or guides for overclocking since different system may have different behavior and output.

I can only share this link below and take note that overclocking may damage or shorten the life of the device.

How Can I Overclock My Intel® Arc™ GPU Using Intel® Arc™ Control?

I know you are using the Intel Graphics Software however I hope you get the idea. You may need to do a lot of trial and error to get to a stable setting.

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hi Michael,

Apologies for the late reply! I checked out the article, and despite the warning, I've been overclocking my GPU for a few days now. I think I’ve nailed down a pretty solid preset: VO -55mv, CPL - 226V, and PB - 32%. So far, no crashes or driver issues, and I'm actually planning to stick with this setup until it gives out—haha! But honestly, I don't think that’s happening anytime soon. My temps are hanging around 122F and peak at 161.6F during stress tests, which seems pretty decent based on some other articles I’ve read.

Thanks a ton for your support; I really appreciate it!
Do you know when we can expect the driver update for Xess 3?

Thanks!
