Hello
When installing the latest driver, the colors are washed out. Contrast and saturation are lost.
The driver provided by the motherboard manufacturer displays the correct colors. But something wrong with the shaders in Blender.
At first, Windows updated the driver without warning. I reinstalled the manufacturer's driver. Windows updated it again. After several cycles, Windows decided to keep the "outdated" driver and now won't update it.
The Intel Graphics Command Center isn't available even if I install the driver from the Intel website. Even if install the app from the Microsoft Store, I could only access it with the Microsoft driver.
Why do new driver versions cause color issues? How to fix it?
i3-8100, ASUS PRIME H310M-R R2.0
Connection via DVI.
HDMI and DisplayPort are missing.

So what did you do to fix? How did you get the original image back?

Hello blenduser,
I hope this message finds you well.
Upon further investigation, I can say that is likely an OS issue. Please also remember that this driver is in legacy support mode now, meaning all updates target only critical issues and vulnerabilities.
Please try using Windows 10 screen calibration tools to set his preferred color profile: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-display-brightness-and-color-in-windows-3f67a2f2-5c65-ceca-778b-5858fc007041#category=windows_10
Lastly, please try contacting Microsoft Support for further assistance.
Since moving forward, you need to contact Microsoft, I need to close this inquiry.
If you need further assistance, please post a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Thank you and have a great day.
Best regards,
Michael L.
