Crashes in Street Fighter 6 (Steam)

Game crashes with the following error: Fatal D3D error (25, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG, 0x887a0006)

The driver is version 32.0.101.6632. I updated from a previous version after a crash earlier tonight, then experienced another crash on version 6632 as well. The specific card I'm using is the B650 AORUS Elite AX ICE.

Game is Street Fighter 6 on Steam, most current version installed.

Intel SSU report is attached.

This has been happening consistently since I began using the card so the steps to reproduce are not clear to me. The only thing I can identify is that it does not crash in menus or while navigating the map in World Tour mode, only during an active match. In this specific instance I played through 5 stages of the Arcade mode with no issues. After losing the final match I selected Continue and the game crashed immediately.

Performance appears fine otherwise. 60 FPS is consistent in matches. I notice some slowdown on animations both before the match begins and during a super art, but nothing affecting gameplay. Have not played online PVP yet, this is all vs. CPU. Graphics settings are fairly high.

I've also attached the Capcom crash report from Steam.

Hi sleepingtoads,

Thank you for posting in the communities!

I appreciate you getting in touch with us and spending the time to work on the issue you brought up.

For us to determine the best solution to your concern, could you please provide the needed details listed below:

  • May I know if the game is working fine before? if yes, what is the previous graphics driver version your using?
  • Did you perform clean installation of your Graphics Driver before installing B580?
  • What Graphics Card do you previously have?

Once we have this information, we will be able to proceed with the next course of action and work towards resolving the issue you are facing.

Best regards,

Hi, I was previously using the driver version published on 2/4/2025, number 6559 I believe. I experienced the same issue on that version as well. This is a new PC build so it’s the only graphics card I’ve used in it.

I did not perform a clean installation. I see there has been another driver update in the last few days, should I attempt to clean install version 6647?

Hello sleepingtoads,

Thank you for sharing this information with us.

Sure thing! Try performing clean installation then install the latest Graphics Driver update (version: 32.0.101.6647) and check if the issue will still persist.

Yes, thank you. I was able to play for a few hours with no crashes, though I did notice slightly more stuttering in the framerate during some animations. Most were just a few frames but one lasted about 6 seconds. Aside from that one nothing affected gameplay. It seems the crash issue is solved. Thanks for your help!
