Enshrouded - Setting Texture Resolution to Max. Quality crashes the game

Saw reports on Steam Forums on Reddits about it so it doesn't seem to be an issue on my end but wanted to report it here as well. When you select Max. Quality for Texture Resolution in Graphics Settings the Game crashes and won't start anymore. Editing enshrouded_local.json and setting "textures": to "high" fixes it.
