Hello,
getting 39-41 FPS on Quality settings at 1080p with my B580 together with a i9 10850k
performance tanked the moment i loaded into the first area of the game. recommended specs are
intel i7-8700 (3.7 GHz 6 Core) / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (3.7 GHz 8 Core) or equivalent. GPU wise
NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super (req. 6GB VRAM) / AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (req. 6GB VRAM) / Intel ARC A770
not sure if the game is badly optimized or it just runs bad on intel gpus.
i have latest drivers for my B580

Its been days and the B580 performance is still very bad. I never had this issue with my 3060 ti, Rebar is on its running on pcie 4.0 but even then its just worse in every way compared to my 3060 ti. Seems like i have to wait until Intel fixes the performance problems

Hi Pandu25,
Thank you for reaching out to us in the community. I have a few questions that will greatly assist in investigating the performance issue with Enshrouded. Please review the following:
- Which gaming platform did you use to install the game (e.g., Steam, Epic Games)?
- Could you share a screenshot of your in-game display and graphics settings?
- What is the current graphics driver installed on your GPU?
- Is this a relatively new system build?
- Besides playing Enshrouded, are you experiencing performance issues with other games as well?
- Have you tested different graphics drivers to see if the issue persists with previous versions?
- Is your Resizable Bar enabled and CSM disabled in the BIOS?
- Have you tried using optimal in-game graphics settings, which can often be found online, to improve your FPS in the game?
Additionally, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your system, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This tool will generate a text file compiling all your system information. You can follow the instructions at this link and send the text file here. Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility
Furthermore, to visually assess the FPS you're achieving while playing this game, I recommend downloading and installing the CapframeX application. This third-party tool can record your in-game FPS. Please follow this link for instructions on how to install and use it during gameplay.

Hello,
I play Enshrouded on steam. Resizeable bar is enabled and CSM is disabled. Current Driver is 6734 and the system is an older build. havent tested other driver versions yet. I got issue in other games aswell (Helldivers 2, Monster Hunter Wilds). I cant seem to download OverlayEntryConfiguration_0.json needed for CapframeX its stuck on scanning for virus on the other Thread.
i do have an I5 11600k arriving soon. maybe its the pcie 3.0 giving lower fps?

tweaked some ingame settings and now it runs 54-65 fps. Shouldnt the B580 be able to handle this game since it recommends a A770?
not sure if the game is unoptimized or b580 driver issue

Hello Pandu25,
Based on the settings you've provided, it seems you're using the game's Quality setting. While the recommended system requirements specify the A770, the B580 is marketed as a mid-range GPU, not a high-end one. I personally encountered a similar issue with my own GPU; when I used the game's recommended settings, I achieved around 50 FPS. However, after researching online, I found optimal settings that boosted my performance to 100 FPS without using the lower setting. Adjusting certain in-game settings can significantly enhance performance, especially when using a GPU not designed as high-end.
Even so, I'm pleased to hear that you were able to achieve better FPS by tweaking your game settings. I encourage you to explore more tips online to find settings that maximize FPS with the B580 GPU. Additionally, may I proceed to close this inquiry?
Best regards,

Hello.
I had better performance with my old 3060 ti. The B580 does run games but i get sudden frame drops when i move around or just look around in general. games dont run smooth i assume thats caused by the 10850k being pcie 3.0 or the overhead issue? hope the 11600kf can handle it better

installed the 11600kf that arrived and now games run better! wilds runs at high with some settings i dont need off around 101 highest and 77 lowest, Helldivers 2 runs better aswell on high settings 110 highest and 63 lowest during intense battles. so the 10850k was holding the b580 back.

Hello Pandu25,
That's quite intriguing, and I'm glad to hear that the processor is the limiting factor. Nonetheless, I want to explore this phenomenon further, so I will conduct an investigation on my end and provide you with an update as soon as possible.

Hi
while the peformance has a bit increased and stutters are gone i do still get sudden drops in fps. in the intel graphics software the gpu usage is at 100% the graph shows high usage then drops and then goes back up to 100% what could cause this? (Forgot to mention power usage seems low aswell around 80-90 highest i have seen was 125w)

Hello Pandu25,
Thank you for sharing this information with me. I have a few clarifications to address. In the screenshot you provided, are you also reporting the same issue with Monster Hunter Wilds? If so, I recommend creating a separate thread to discuss that matter properly.
Regarding the sudden FPS drops in Enshrouded, even though the stutters are gone and performance has improved, could you let me know if this issue occurs in specific parts of the game or if the FPS drops happen randomly?
Additionally, it would be helpful if you could provide a CapframeX data file so I can visually analyze the FPS drops in the game. Please follow the instructions at this link. If you encounter a missing Configuration folder while following the instructions, please create a new one and paste the necessary files into it. Lastly, since you've adjusted some in-game settings, could you provide another set of screenshots of your display and graphics settings?
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

Hello Pandu25,
For the time being, let's use CapframeX to record the FPS without downloading the configuration file. It should function well even without it. After you've recorded the FPS and shared it with me, I'll continue with the investigation.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.
