Recently I bought an ARC A750 and since installing it in my pc I wasn't able to run 144hz.
When I put it on 144hz it works on 72hz. I run it on 120hz because on 120 and below there is absolutely no problem at all but once I switch it to 144hz it starts running on 72hz.
I use a display port not hdmi. It says that 144hz is supported but as I already said it doesn't work.
I tried switching cables, ports, reinstalling and installing drivers, switching to DP 1.4 and nothing works.
I hope there is a fix for this issue.
Thanks in advance!

Hi again!
I fixed the issue somehow
I bought a new hdmi cable and it works fine!
But I tried couple of display port cables and the issue wasn't fixed so I still think you should still look into that.
Appreciate your efforts and thanks again!!

Hello Somilinski
Thank you for posting on the Intel® ARC™ Graphics Communities. I am sorry you are experiencing issues trying to set a 144HZ refresh rate on your system with Intel® Arc™ A750 Graphics. Please let us know the following information to assist you with this issue:
- What is your monitor's make and model?
- What resolution are you using? Have you tried different resolutions?
- Do you use a native DisplayPort connection, or do you use any type of adapter? Does the same issue happen on HDMI?
- Create a log file with the Intel® System Support Utility and attach it to your reply.

Hello Somilinski
Thank you for sharing this information with us. Based on the log file that you shared, please let's try the following:
- Go to your motherboard manufacturer's website, download, and update your BIOS to the latest available version.
- Uninstall the current driver from the system using Display Driver Uninstaller. Once uninstalled, reinstall the latest driver version 31.0.101.4255 or 31.0.101.4257.
If the issue persists, please share with us the following information:
- Share a short video showing the issue.
- Share a short video or screenshots of the settings screen in which you select the resolution and refresh rate.
- Does the issue only happen in certain situations like, playing games or using certain apps or is it a general issue that extends to the desktop screen?
- Does the same issue happen on HDMI connection?
Best Regards,

Hi!
Thanks again for reaching out.
I installed both drivers as you said and the issue is still there.
I cannot provide a video because on video the issue is not seeable because the screen recorded doesn't go over 60fps in which the issue is not seeable as I already said.
The issue is still the same on hdmi and the problem is apparent always not only when playing a game.
If the issue cannot be resolved I'll just wait and maybe in one of the future driver updates the issue is resolved.
Thanks for your patience.

Hello Somilinski
Thank you for the information. There is a newer driver version 31.0.101.4311 that came out today, let's try updating to this latest version.
Also, in regard to the video, screenshots will work as well. What we want you to show is the settings screen that you are using to set up the refresh rate either Windows display settings or the Intel® Graphics Command Center we would like to see the option if they show from your side. Also, we would like to know where on the system you see that the system is running at 72Hz, does it show it somewhere on the screen? This is what we would like the screenshots to show.

Hello Somilinski
It is great to know that you were able to make the system work at 144Hz after trying a different HDMI cable. Do you want to mark this thread as resolved? Or, in case you want us to further assist you with this, we would like to ask you for the screenshots requested in my previous post, also, please share with us the make and model of the DisplayPort cables that you have tested so far.

Hello Somilinski
We wanted to let you know that we did some testing related to this issue, we tested two different monitors Asus PG32UQX 4K@144hz and Asus PG278QR 2K@144hz in none of the cases we experienced any issue with the refresh rate and they worked fine at 144Hz.
This leads us to believe that perhaps the DP mode in the monitor can be changed through the monitor's On-Screen Display menu. We would advise that you check the monitor's manual and settings to check if the DP mode can be changed. Or if possible test a different monitor so you can make sure the issue s not coming from the monitor itself.
