HDR Capture

Hi,

Currently unable to capture video using Intel Arc Control on my Intel Arc A770 16GB LE.

  • Driver version: 31.0.101.4826
  • DDU has been used on every driver update
  • Note new beta driver is available to test
  • Intel Arc Control is affected
  • Intel SSU report is attached
  • A screenshot is attached

Steps to reproduce the problem:

  • Open Intel Arc Control
  • Go to Capture tab
  • Press start

Any assistance is appreciated.

Thank you for your patience.


I have worked on the reproduction of your issue and I have been able to replicated, the Capture feature currently doesn't work when the display has HDR turned on. We're looking to see if this can be enabled in a future Arc Control release but can't commit to any outcome yet.

Hello Foddersin,

  

 

Thank you for posting on the Intel communities. I know is very frustrating when trying to record a video on Intel® Arc™ Control and receive error messages, it will be a pleasure to help you.  

 

We released a new graphics driver this week, and I noticed on the Intel® SSU that the graphics driver is not updated, follow the steps below and let me know the results:


  1. Uninstall Intel® Arc™ Control by following the steps below
    1. Press the Windows key.
    2. Click on settings.
    3. Select Apps and then select Apps & features.
    4. Search for Intel® Arc™ Control software.
    5. Click on it and select the option to uninstall.
  2. Reinstall Intel® Arc™ Control by installing the graphics driver 31.0.101.4885. For guidance, on How to Install Intel® Arc Control.

I have already tried this, used DDU then rebooted and installed the latest 4885 Beta, exact same issue occurs.
