I have a problem, I'm trying to install Intel Arc Control, I launched Intel Arc Control, the download got almost to the end, but there is a problem. I get the error: "Service 'Intel(R) Arc Control Service' (IntelArcControlService) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start services". I went into Event Manager and saw that the error was: "Timeout exceeded (60000 ms) while waiting for the Intel(R) Arc Control Service to connect". Since I increased the wait time to one minute in the registry.
Nothing really helps.
I tried:
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Reinstalling the drivers also did not have any effect.
Cleaning the registry using CCleaner, rebooting, etc.
In fact, nothing produced any results. I found a topic with a clean reinstallation of the OS. But this option is not for me, I need to somehow install this software, without reinstalling the OS.

Hello AlexBug
Thank you for posting on the Intel® ARC™ Graphics Communities.
I see you are experiencing issues trying to install Arc Control on your system, however, Arc Control would not install on systems that are older than 11th Generation processors, and from what I see you are using an i5-3470. So I wanted to confirm if the software was working fine for you before. If so, did the issue start due to modifying the registry or is this the first time you are trying to install the app on your system?
Something you can try is to disable the iGPU from your system's BIOS so the installer only detects the Arc graphics and use Display Driver Uninstaller to uninstaller the current driver and then reinstall the latest driver version 31.0.101.4593.

Solution with update driver from 31.0.101.4952 -> 31.0.101.4953 WHQL really works, after update. I think Arc Control Installs only with WHQL version of drivers. New update of drivers, really looks great

Hello AlexBug
Thank you for letting us know. It is great the latest driver resolved the issue and that you are now able to take advantage of the Arc Control Software. Now that this thread is resolved we will close it. If you need assistance with any other issue feel free to open a new topic.
