Installed ok and Intels system check shows im running them but Intel ARC control shows

It will also not check for updates just times out.
Ive done another clean install and just get same, really disappointed for a new card.

Hi Wazza999,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
We appreciate your purchase of our graphics card, and we are humbly sorry that you are experiencing issues at first use. This is not the experience that we envisioned for our customers to undergo when using the card; rest assured we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Please allow us to ask the following information to determine viable suggestions for your concern:
1. May we know what software did you use to generate the Intel System Check? Is it the Intel Driver and Support Assistant (IDSA) found on this page, https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html?
2. If the software used is not the IDSA, please download and install the IDSA software from the link above. After installing, run it and after the scan there will be an Intel Software category that you can expand to show the correct version of the software. Kindly provide a screenshot of it also for confirmation.
3. It would really help us if we can get more information about your system. Please download and run our Intel® System Support Utility from this page, https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html. To run it, please press "Scan". After the scan is finished, click next and there will be a save button, giving you an option to save the logs to a text file, please do so and attach the file on your reply. You can refer to How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows* https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057926/memory-and-storage.html for instructions.
4. Regarding the Check for update issue timing out, it was listed to be fixed on driver version, 31.0.101.5534, which is the one that you installed as stated on this article, https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000096682.html. We would like to verify the fix, so kindly update to the latest version, 31.0.101.5590, https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html.
We will wait for your response.
Best Regards,
